About Generation Changers
History
Generation Changers Title 1 Community Development Center was founded in 2012 under the visionary leadership of Executive Director Jason Spencer. With a mission to empower and uplift the Columbia and Lincoln Neighborhood in Fresno, CA, the organization embarked on a journey to catalyze positive change and foster community development.
Since its inception, Generation Changers has been dedicated to serving the needs of residents in underserved areas, offering a range of programs and services aimed at improving education, health, and economic opportunities. Through innovative initiatives and collaborative partnerships, the organization has become a beacon of hope and
transformation within the community.
In 2020, Generation Changers reached a significant milestone by becoming a partner of the Drive Initiative, further expanding its reach and impact in addressing systemic challenges and driving sustainable solutions.Building on its commitment to education, in 2023, Generation Changers achieved another milestone by becoming a vendor for the Fresno Unified School District, solidifying its role as a trusted ally in supporting the academic success and holistic development of students in the region.Throughout its history, Generation Changers Title 1 Community Development Center has remained steadfast in its dedication to empowering individuals, strengthening families, and building a brighter future for the Columbia and Lincoln Neighborhood and beyond.
